Spot the invaders

Learn to recognise banmara and other invasive plants. Knowing what does not belong is the first step to protecting what does.

How to do it

    Learn three invasive plants really well — banmara is the one to start with.

  2. 02

    Walk the same path each month and count how many you see.

  3. 03

    Pull out small ones before they flower, roots and all.

  4. 04

    Never dump them where they can re-root. Dry them fully first.

  5. 05

    Tell your local forest user group what you found.
